去年暑期，校园网报道了我校四位同学参加2015年中国高中生美式辩论联赛（NHSDLC）全国冠军赛获得佳绩的新闻。在那次比赛中，我校啸宇和顾茜文两位同学成功跻身32强，获得了参加美国哈佛、宾夕法尼亚等顶尖高校辩论邀请赛的机会。

    今年春节期间，包括我校顾茜文同学在内的来自NHSDLC的辩论精英们飞抵美国费城和波士顿，同世界范围内的辩论高手进行了一次比拼与交流。顾茜文同学参加的是哈佛国际辩论邀请赛。在汇聚上百位国际辩论精英的赛场上，她充分发挥了自身的特长与优势，经过六轮小组赛和四轮淘汰赛的激烈角逐，最终以优异的表现获得最佳辩手（Top Speaker）第四名的殊荣。

    作为我校美辩社的社长，顾茜文在接受NHSDLC官微采访时吐露了自己的心声：“My most unforgettable round during this year's Harvard tournament was not the one in which I got the highest points. I actually lost that round because my opponents were very experienced. To my surprise, they generously shared their constructive ideas with me after the debate - even the judge joined the discussion. At that moment, none of us cared about the result anymore, and simply had a great time exploring the conflicting points regarding public finance in China and the US. Finally, my opponents and I ended this wonderful round with a friendly hug. I also appreciate all my tutors' advice and encouragement. I really admire them for their patience when it came to our naive ideas and funny chinglish..”
    近两年来，我校美辩社团吸引了一群擅长英语交际、热爱英语辩论的年轻人。对于每一位参与其中的同学而言，真正宝贵的是跨越地域文化间的交流。成绩是有形的，但能力与经验是无形的，唇枪舌剑间收获的不只是谁胜谁负的结果，还会有日积月累的能力提升。对于投身社团活动的通中学子来说，在一次次的积累与反思、一次次的交流与展示中，不断实现自我的超越，就是他们最大的目标。
